About the Position
Join us at Legacy Community Health as the Front Office Clerk, a pivotal role in our mission to drive healthcare innovation and accessibility. As the welcoming face and voice of our clinic, you will shape the first impressions and foster lasting relationships with our patients. Your role is fundamental in sculpting a supportive and comforting environment that encourages health and growth within the community.
Your Essential Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for patients, embodying a friendly and welcoming demeanor.
- Manage high volumes of incoming calls while ensuring impeccable customer service.
- Maintain accurate and efficient data entry for patient records and information systems.
- Facilitate seamless patient flow within the clinic by coordinating schedules and appointments.
- Enhance patient experience by providing information on Legacy’s comprehensive services and programs.
- Ensure the clinic's front office operates smoothly and efficiently, aligning with Legacy’s high standards of service.
Qualifications You Bring
- High school graduate or equivalent is required.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish is preferred to effectively communicate with our diverse clientele.
- Professional and articulate phone communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Proficiency in data entry with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experienced in using a multi-line phone or switchboard system, though we welcome quick learners eager to gain new skills.
- Basic math skills and familiarity with alphabetical or numerical filing systems.
